We use heavy and thick shanks on all of our mountings not paper thin lightweight, the backs on our stud earrings our medium weight not the lightweight kind of small backs that do not stay on and you can not hold in your hand. We also offer the french locking back, you simply push it on and you need to squeeze to take off. Many of our customers prefer this back to the screwbacks.
